Rhythm & Resonance Evening Retreat with Karla, Michael & Anna! Tuesday 26th February 5-9:30pm !
I have been attuning with Anna & Michael of Soulstice-Massage Training Therapies for a while now about merging our work as we are all so passionate about music, rhythm and vibrational healing. My yoga method brings rhythm in tune with breaths and beats and yogasana and Anna & Michael work with Gongs, Bowls, and other instruments which also harness the power of sound and its resonance in the body.
So we’ve put this evening retreat together and to top it all off, we’ve asked Momo get involved so that you can nourish and harmonise your house on ALL levels!
This will be an ultrasonic evening of yoga, movement, breath, beats, food, deep vibrations and extrasensory sensations! We’ve already had a few bookings so do get in touch and book soon to secure your place.

Beginning at 5pm with a breathe with the beat yoga class, attuning the wifi of our inner body with the energy and strength of the physical body and the dynamic fluid breathing techniques I have refined and aligned over the past 10 years. This is an all over body, mind and soul upgrade and attunement, in harmony with all those in the group. We move in rhythm, in sync with each other, with the breath and with the warm and balanced movements of the musical soundtrack (specially curated playlists for the class – each part of the body has a different ‘attunement’ and resonance to it..
A guided meditation and relaxation is followed by the first of our evening’s Sound of Silence sessions. This helps us to really appreciate the resonance, rhythms and sounds of the practice.
‘The music is not in the notes but in the silence in between.’ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Then, its dinner time! Prepared by Momo we’re feeding you creamy delicious vegetable vegan curry with tasty tempting snacks and salads followed by our delightful dessert.
Our rest and digest time post dinner will be soundtracked by Sound Healing Practitioners Anna and Michael’s incredible Gongs, singing bowls and wind chimes.
The vibration of a gong is a powerful method for reducing stress. Known as a Gong Bath, the gong creates an ocean of sound that is profoundly relaxing; a state which activates the parasympathetic nervous system to balance the over-amped, over-taxed sympathetic nervous system. Water has often been used as an analogy for the rippling effect of the gong’s vibrations, partially because our bodies are approximately 70 percent water and water serves to conduct sound waves. Like ripples created by a pebble skipped onto a glassy lake, the gong’s sound gently reverberates over, around and through the entire body to calm, relax and soothe. Typically, the listener’s heart rate slows, blood pressure drops and breath is restored to its natural rhythm. The gong induces a holistic resonance in the body and a spontaneous meditative state in the mind, resulting in a sense of expanded awareness and wholeness.
‘Music is the electrical soil which the spirit lives, thinks and invents’
Ludwig van Beethoven
Some sweet silence is followed by tea and attunement back to the world, and hopefully to our beds! We finish by 9:30pm
