Having practiced yoga for almost 20 years, Margaret felt drawn to delve deeper into her practice. She completed RYT200 Teacher Training in 2015 and RYT500 in 2017. This journey inspired Margaret to change direction in her career after 20 years working in financial services just around the time House of Yoga Waterford advertised for a new studio manager! She’s delighted to be able to merge her skills and passions in the House! Most of the time Margaret is wearing her studio manager hat but she treasures her teaching time and is looking forward to developing more of this over the next few months through further training, with particular interest in restorative and yin yoga systems. Sharing her yoga journey and learnings with others is core to her teaching. Yoga is available for everyone irregardless of age, physical fitness or flexibility and she teaches a practice that is accessible to all. She believes in moving mindfully through postures and always being respectful to the body on the mat. She has studied under renowned teachers such as Michael Ryan, BJ Galvin, Jack Harrison, Peter Goodman and is delighted to be able to pracice regularly with local teachers Aoife Lacey, Michael Conolly, and Hilary Harvey.
